Writing Ideas

We have Writer's Workshop EVERYDAY! Our workshop consists of a mini-lesson, writing time, and a sharing time.During writing time, students have the opportunity to conference with Ms. MacKinnon to talk about their writing and set writing goals.

We are currently learning about adding more ideas and details to our writing. We have talked about taking a small moment and writing lots of details about it so our reading audience can create pictures in their mind.

Writing is easiest when we get to choose our own topic. We can add lots of details to ideas we know a lot about. Sometimes it is hard to come up with an idea.
